Why should kids have all the fun?!
Parents, join your 9-13 yr old for a week of fun exploring Austin's creeks and aquifer. We'll discover fossils, caves and springs on a scavenger hunt along Barton creek, test water quality, get down underground into a wild cave, clean up trash while canoeing a creek, and dive into barton springs. Groups with adult leaders are welcome!
 
Dates: June 11-15 & July 16-19
Time: 9 a.m. to 12 noon
Ages: 9-13 year olds with an adult. Adult Supervision Required: includes a parent, scout leader or other supervising adult.   
Cost: $20.00 reimbursable deposit per family/group
Space is limited, so register early!

  • Canoe Town Lake and test water quality in its tributaries
  • Participate in a creek clean-up and storm drain marking
