Join Julia for an Adopt-a-Creek workday as she works to remove the invasive nandina in Reed Park! Reed Neighborhood Park is a beautiful small park located at 2614 Pecos St. in Tarrytown. The park has a small swimming pool, a child's playground, a historical kiln and a beautiful scenic walk/drive with live oaks, black willows, and bald cypresses with so much personality. This workday will involve removal of nandina, so please wear long pants, closed-toed shoes, and a long sleeve t-shirt to make sure you are protected. Water, snacks, tools, and gloves will be provided. Thanks again for assisting our creek members, and we appreciate your help!
