Love Where You Live
Love Where You Live is a Keep Austin Beautiful program that invites individuals and small groups to beautify the areas around their homes and neighborhoods.
Show some love for the world right outside your door by leading your very own litter cleanup, with supplies and guidance provided by Keep Austin Beautiful.

Cleanup kit registration and information
Need supplies for your Love Where You Live project? We’ve got you covered!
Please provide us with a minimum of two weeks’ notice before your scheduled project. This ensures both the availability and preparation of your supplies.
Each kit provides supplies for up to 10 people and includes the following:
- 10 litter grabbers
- 10 trash bags
- 5 recycling bags
- 10 pairs of nitrile gloves
- 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
- 1 sharps container
- 1 first aid kit

Frequently asked questions
How long is this event?
We encourage you to keep your community clean year-round. Most projects take about 2 hours.
Are there any age restrictions?
All volunteers under the age of 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian. Independent registrations submitted by minors are not permitted.
Can I register for multiple kits?
Keep Austin Beautiful will provide one free kit per participating household, while supplies last.
Where do we discard our trash after the cleanup?
We ask that volunteers take the bags home to their own personal trashcans, or drop off the trash at an approved location.
Can I send someone else to pick up my kit?
If someone else is picking up your cleanup kit, they will need to provide your first and last name at pickup.
Do we have to return the kits after?
Once you pick up your kit, it belongs to you. You can use these tools to continue doing Love Where You Live cleanups at any time!
