For the past three years, Keep Austin Beautiful has participated in Amplify Austin, our city’s annual day of giving. The campaign provides an easy and fun way for our entire community to give together, and build transformative collective impact for more than 600 local nonprofits. In those 24 hours, our community raised $12.5 million for 686 local nonprofit organizations and inspired 34,415 people to give.
This year, we focused our fundraising on our continued efforts to provide safe volunteer opportunities for the community during the pandemic. We graciously asked for your support so that we could upgrade our technology, provide personal protective equipment to keep our dedicated volunteers safe, and coordinate more individual projects to accomplish our mission as we adapt to this new wave of volunteerism.
Incredibly, our sponsors, donors, and volunteers showed up and made Amplify Austin 2021 a truly special day for us.
We set our campaign goal at $5,000 and exceeded it for a grand total of $8,690!
We want to thank each of our donors for amplifying Keep Austin Beautiful! Your generous support will allow us to purchase the necessary resources to provide safe, efficient community service opportunities as we work to maintain our shared sanctuary: the outdoors.
