About Clean Streets Day

Did you know? There are nearly 50 billion pieces of litter along U.S. roadways and waterways. (2020 National Litter Survey)

Thank you to the volunteers who joined Keep Austin Beautiful for Clean Streets Day 2024 on Saturday, September 21, and helped keep our streets clean and litter-free. Together, we removed 1,641 pounds of trash and recycling from our Austin roadways.
