Keep Austin Beautiful (KAB) inspires and educates individuals and our community towards greater environmental stewardship.

To Clean, Beautify and Protect the Austin environment through physical improvements and hands-on education.

PROGRAM AREAS

• Clean
  • Removing litter from our neighborhoods, streets, schools, parks, and public spaces, and promoting a litter-free Austin.
    

• Beautify
  • Empowering and supporting schools, neighborhood groups and local businesses in efforts to beautify their communities and restore habitats. 

• Educate
  • Promoting environmental stewardship through presentations, hands-on activities and service-learning projects. 

• Recognize
  • Honoring outstanding efforts by individuals and organizations through the annual KAB Awards.
    

VOLUNTEERS

More than 10,000 people volunteer their time each year, committing 40,000 hours to cleaning and beautifying Austin through KAB programs and events.
