Austin Discovery School Permablitz 2017

Sat, Sep 30, 2017 - 9:00am to Sun, Oct 1, 2017 - 5:00pm

Austin Discovery School started last year out with a foot of clay covering their future annual/perennial garden as a result of the grading that took place after their septic system was installed. Needless to say, they've been pretty busy! ADS is now home to a food forest that includes over thirty fruit trees, as well as, forty others around campus. The students have also installed grant worthy rain gardens, straw bales gardens, a chicken coop and a rabbit hutch! Although they have made some progress with the student run annual garden beds, they are in need of massive microbial makeover!...
