AUSTIN, TX (April 22, 2024) – LBJ Early College High School is an iconic part of Austin Independent School District. On Tuesday, April 23, from 12:00 – 3:00 PM, over 400 Texas Roadhouse employees from across the United States, who are in Austin for their annual conference, are volunteering with Keep Austin Beautiful to provide support and improvements for LBJ Early College High School, including creating a much-needed teacher’s lounge, painting LBJ Jaguar paw prints, and beautifying the landscaping that surrounds the school.

Founded in 1985, Keep Austin Beautiful is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that inspires and educates all Austinites to volunteer together, beautify green spaces, clean waterways, and reduce waste every day. Last year, Keep Austin Beautiful empowered over 9,000 volunteers to remove 70 tons of litter from public spaces and taught over 12,000 youth how to recycle, compost, and reduce their waste to inspire them to become the next generation of environmental leaders.
