Keep Austin Beautiful engages citizens in making a lasting commitment to protect our waterways by adopting a creek segment for a minimum of two years.

Adopters conduct at least four restoration projects per year to improve water quality, stabilize creek banks, and restore habitats along waterways.

Adopt-a-Creek events can focus on litter abatement, invasive species control, native grass and wildflower seeding, tree planting, and stormwater management.

Applications for Adopt-a-Creek will open again in April 2024. For more information about this program, please contact our Adopt-a-Creek Coordinator, Edward Pung.
